Bio: Originally just a young aspiring hero with no particular talent in any field, nor any particular talent, Makali Shishio has always been driven by two great motivators in life: the love of his life, Eshe; and sheer will and determination. However, Makali's life took a sudden negative turn, when dimensional distortions - caused by the galaxy-shaking showdown between Superman and Goku - resulted in an unknown being of darkness awakening from his slumber prematurely, and attempting to destroy Edge's own world.

Among the casualties was Eshe, and a grieving, enraged Makali first awoke his own inner powers: the power of the Keyblade, and the consciousness of the great Celestial Beast, Leos--a bloodthirsty, ancient beast from the stars, that the Shishio family had been sealing into their newborn children as vessels, ever since their ancestor first sealed the beast away. Managing to defeat the dark entity, Edge saved his world from destruction. But, haunted by the death of Eshe and so many others, he left in a self-imposed exile, despite his acclaim as a hero. It was during this period of aimless wandering that two men found him: Ray Phoenix, the legendary founder of the Cosmic Booth of DEATH BATTLE!; and The Gentleman, the herald of an Eldritch Abomination... that had no interest in his dark destiny.

Taken under their wing, Edge was trained and reshaped to become a true warrior. He learned to suppress and control Leos, refusing to ever release the beast outside of a life-or-death situation, and learned of the ancient lore of combat. Showing a natural ability towards studying and understanding individuals, solely through how they thought and fought, Edge soon joined the members of the Cosmic Booth; teaming up with the Marvel mercenary Deadpool as his partner, and doing his best to reinvent himself as a calmer, if perverted, and relatively normal teenage boy; whilst retaining the inner will and guts that had driven him throughout his life so far, as his driving force in DEATH BATTLE! pioneering.

However, as a new threat begins to descend onto the Cosmic Booth, Edge may have to let the mask he had been building to conceal his true self shatter, in order to prepare himself... for the oncoming trials that awaited... To prepare him for a DEATH BATTLE!

Weapon: Wild Fang - Wild Fang is Edge's personal weapon of choice; his Keyblade. Primarily golden yellow and red in coloring, with the teeth of the blade shaped like a roaring lion head, and the keychain shaped into the image of a fang, the Wild Fang can be used for both melee combat, and - with each swing - it produces a vacuum-like wave of magic energy. The Wild Fang was especially designed to control and concentrate the celestial energies of Leos, in order to stop him from losing control. Due to its light weight and quick swings, it is primarily used for a heavily combo-based fighting style.

Costume 1: A crimson-red duster over a black-and-yellow jumpsuit, with a roaring lion crest on the chest area, and red-and-gold pauldrons equipped onto his shoulders; the duster slightly torn and worn over the years.

"When You're Evil" Unlockable Costume: A black-and-gold suit of hi-tech armor, with a helmet shaped like a lion's mane atop his head and his mane flowing out the back of it, with a set of three large, curved-bladed claws protruding from his left gauntlet; which, when Edge uses an attack which would normally involve a punch, will instead give it the visual effect of Edge slashing the opponent. It also changes the color scheme of the Wild Fang to fit with the new armor. Mysteriously, whenever he dons the "When You're Evil" Costume, Edge seems to develop a more aggressive, crass and bloodthirsty personality; perhaps a dark indicator that the costume's true power is to awaken the consciousness of Leos within him.

Special Moves:
* Bombos: Inspired by the effect of Link's Bombos Charm, channeling energy into the Wild Fang, Edge slashes the weapon downward, releasing several pillars of fire around him that damage any opponent in close vicinity of the bursts.

* Desgarron: Edge sheathes his sword before retracting his claws and slashing them through the air, turning them into ten blades of spiritual energy, that increase damage output of combo attacks executed while it is in effect for a few seconds.

* Chaos Spear: A spear of pale-blue energy that can be thrown as a projectile attack.

* Rasengan: Using his free left hand, Edge rushes forward and smashes a bright blue sphere of chakra into an opponent.

* Lightning Flame Dragon's Firing Hammer: Edge rushes forward, both his arms enveloped in fire and electricity, as well as the Wild Fang, before he strikes with a low-level explosive force.

* Magic Hour: Edge releases three pillars of light energy that shoot forward, knocking an opponent into the air and inflicting damage at the same time.

* Quick-Time Fury: Enveloped in a blazing orange aura, similar to Asura slightly, Edge rushes forward and delivers a rapid combo of strikes in the form of a quick time event, inspired by Asura's Wrath's use of rapid fire fisticuff quick times.

* Cross Slash: Edge delivers a two-hit, heavy combo attack, releasing blade waves with each slash, in a cross-slashing form.

Ultimate Move: White Hot Lion Heart!! - Edge rushes forward and rapidly delivers a rapid slashing combo on the opponent rapidly, before skidding back upon delivering the final hit. Instantly afterwards, Edge focuses huge amounts of fire, electricity and raw energy into the blade, before stabbing it through the air with a roar... releasing a massive, roaring lion head of pure energy that strikes with explosive force, sending the opponent flying and crashing down, before Edge twirls his blade around with a laugh and declaration of "BURN, BABY!" to end the cutscene.
